Face cards

In a deck of cards, the term face card is generally used to describe a card that depicts a person. any jack, queen, or king. The face cards in a deck of Italian playing cards are: king, knight and jack.

Fill

A slot machine term. A Fill is an attendant who refills empty hopper with coins to allow the payout to continue.

Fixed Odds Games

A game in which a gambler is able to establish the expected odds at the time of the placement of the wager.

Flush

Any five cards of the same suit.

Guts Poker

Guts card games are not exactly poker variants, but they involve hands of 3 or fewer cards, ranked similarly to hands in poker. At the beginning of every new round, players sitting at the table choose to ante or to sit out. Each of them is dealt 3 cards face down. Each player has then to decide to be "in" or "out". The players wishing to be "in" show their hands to the table. The best hand wins the pot. The losing players replace the pot, as penalty for losing.

A poker terminology.In High-low split games, the pot is divided between the player with the best traditional hand, called the high hand, and the player with the low hand.

High Roller

A gambler who wagers a large amount of money, also called a Whale.

Hit

In Blackjack, a player's option to take a card.

Joining a poker game, winning big in a short period of time, and leaving the table.

Hold'em

A poker term, also known as Texas Hold 'em, where the players get 2 down cards and 5 community cards.

Hole Card

An unexposed down card in front of the player.

The place where the coins are held in a slot machine.

Hot Deck

A poker term meaning a deck from which good hands are being dealt.

Hot Hands

A poker term meaning a series of high-value hands.
