Cryptologic was founded in Canada in the year 1995 by brothers Andrew Rivkin and Mark Rivkin from the basement of their parent's house. The brothers wanted to find a real life application for a secure online financial transaction system which they had developed. Cryptologic became publicly-traded on the Canadian Dealer Network (CDN) a year later. The first cryptologic casino, InterCasino, went online in 1996.
